From an SEO and conversion standpoint, the ROI of superior hosting can’t be overcome.
Use Outbound Links
This is an easy, white hat Search Engine Optimization strategy to obtain additional traffic. Outbound links to associated pages helps Google figure out your page’s subject. It also shows Google your page is a hub of quality information.
Not linking out might be the #1 on-page Search Engine Optimization error I see folks make. I try and use 2-4x outbound links per 1000 words. That’s a good guideline for most sites.
Bear in mind the sites you link out to reflect for you. So make sure whenever possible, to link out to power websites.
Add Modifiers For Your Title
Using modifiers like “2016”, “ best”, “guide”, and “review” might allow you to rate for long tail variants of your target key word.
Use SEO-Friendly URLs
Google has said that the first 3-5 words in a URL are given more weight. Thus make your URLs short and sweet. And always include your target key word in your URL. In other words: Avoid nasty URLs: domain.com/p=123 Or long URLs: domain.com/8/6/16/cat=SEO/on-page-seo-is-so-amazing-omg-its-the-best
Post Long Content
The SEO adage “length is strength” was supported by our business study which found that longer content has a tendency to rate higher on Google’s first page.
Direct for at least 1900 words for each piece of content that you print. As a rule, I make sure my articles all have 1000 words of meaty, content that is useful.
Content that is longer can help you rank better for your target key word and brings a win-win!
Wrap Subheadings in H2 Tags
In at least once subheading…, contain your target keyword and wrap it.
This undoubtedly won’t make or break your on-page SEO attempts. But my evaluations have shown me that a dent can be made by rolling your target keyword in an H2 tag.

It tells Google in if a person hits their back button immediately after landing on a page black-and-white: this is low quality page.
That’s why “dwell time” is used by Google to size up your content’s quality. Improve your average dwell time by writing long, employing content that keeps people.
